Описание:
Hannibal was a general of Carthage, a state on the coast of North Africa and a powerful trading empire. As a child, he swore an oath to be an eternal enemy of Rome, and throughout his life, he carried out that oath, keeping it unbroken up to the moment he died. In command of armies, he dealt Rome three of its most devastating defeats, bringing Rome to its knees and nearly destroying Roman civilization forever. Had he a bit more luck, history might be very different today. He was one of history's greatest generals, and he was Rome's greatest enemy.
