As a result, the Joe Biden administration will confront a challenging trade environment, but there is also opportunity for renewal.

Will the US revitalize the world trading system through its leadership? What should be the United States’ approach to China? A panel of experts discuss these and broader questions about the future of US trade policy and the global trading system.

This program is part of the AEI–Brookings Institution project “Reconceptualizing Globalization,” which brings together distinguished government, academic, and industry leaders to think outside the box and discuss innovative ways to improve the understanding of globalization’s impact on the United States.
