Water of Leith Walkway - Roseburn to Leith

Along the way we see water, some leaves, and that's about it. Oh ... ... we also hear lots of birds twirping and tweeting and making the whole area feel like a jungle.

I suppose about the only exciting thing along the way is a rusty Antony Gormley statue standing in the middle of the river. Yeh, not a lot really happens, so I end up prattling on about this and that; about clouds as fluffy as scones; how you rarely see a happy jogger these days; and how the older we get the more the sense of wonder evaporates and the world around us becomes a boring place.

We end in a pub. In fact, we end in three pubs, although not all at the same time. For Leith is a wondrous place full of lovely old pubs, and in each pub old folk may feel a small bout of wonder coming on.

The three Leith pubs involved are The Carriers Quarters, The Malt & Hops, and Teuchters Landing. Oh what fun we had.
