Описание: Pine Mountain is one of the Arizona 2000 ft. prominence peaks, and it is located in the Prescott National Forest, north of Phoenix and west of Payson. You will need 4WD and high clearance to get to the trailhead, and it took us over an hour from I-17 to reach it. The hike is beautiful, and the summit provides some nice views. Despite the hazy conditions we had, especially to the southeast, we still enjoyed the views and spent over an hour on the summit. The views from different parts of the trail below the peak were also great, and the canyon leading up to the rim is very scenic as well.
