East Coast Park PARKRUN! A flat parkrun on a mixture of tarmac and concrete paths. The run is located at East Coast Park, Singapore! This parkrun is all around the park with amazing views of the beach and the city on either sides! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the East Coast Park Parkrun experience.

East Coast Park Parkrun is an out and back course following the picturesque coastline of East Coast Park. Starting on the pathway beside Car Park B1, the route goes east 2.5km staying on the left hand side of the pathway all the way until the 2.5km turnaround point. The route is completely flat.

The East Coast Park itself is a beach park located on the southeastern coast of Singapore. It was opened in the 1970s, when the government completed reclaiming land off the coast at Katong which extends from Changi to Tanjong Rhu.

Buggies/prams and dogs are allowed at this parkrun and there are toilets near, changing rooms and showers close to the start! As the route is all on hardstanding paths, road shoes are reccomended, and I would reccomend bringing lots of water fo when you are finished as Singapore is very humid. In terms of how busy the parkrun is, it is a nice and quiet one so there isn't much congestion at the start of the run. There are on average 107 runners/joggers/walkers a week. With it being a flat parkrun and all on hard surface, there is a chance for a PB, however, due to the humidity it is likely you wont get one!

The weather was not great on the day with a little bit of rain and grey clouds, however, it was very humid. The atmosphere was great and the volunteers made it a fun morning! This is the 51st parkrun I have recorded on the channel of which you can find a playlist of them below:

I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. East Coast Park Parkrun is a great run to tick off the "E" on the alphabeteer challenge and it is the fourth "E" I have done! Let me know if you have ever completed the course.
