Darius Acuff Jr. scored 17 points and No. 20 Arkansas dominated from the opening tip to rout No. 15 Vanderbilt 93-68 on Wednesday night, handing the Commodores their third straight loss. The freshman went 7-of-14 from the field and added five assists as Arkansas (14-5, 4-2 SEC) shot 58% overall and recorded 25 assists on 37 made field goals.

Arkansas set the tone early with a 13-2 run as Vanderbilt missed eight of its first nine shots. The Razorbacks stretched the lead to 18-4 before the Commodores finally scored on back-to-back possessions more than eight minutes into the game. Vanderbilt (16-3, 3-3) steadied itself late in the half and cut the deficit to 11 at the break, fueled by Tyler Nickel, who scored all 17 of his points in the first half.

The Razorbacks pulled away for good midway through the second half when Vanderbilt went nearly four minutes without a field goal, allowing Arkansas to push the lead into the 20s. The Razorbacks’ size and length overwhelmed the Commodores, forcing them into 31 3-point attempts while dominating inside.

Malique Ewin and Karter Knox each scored 16 points for Arkansas, Meleek Thomas added 13, DJ Wagner had 11, and Trevon Brazile finished with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Arkansas outscored Vanderbilt 50-20 in the paint and outrebounded the Commodores by 12. Tyler Tanner added 11 points for Vanderbilt.

Arkansas remains unbeaten at home in SEC play, with its only home losses this season coming against Duke and Houston.
