We had arrived at Oke Bay, Bay of Islands, New Zealand on our Leopard 45 Catamaran. The forecast stronger southwesterly winds arrived and there were fewer boats left.
Following day (Saturday) had strong winds and periods of light rain. However after lunch the sun came out. We went to shore for a walk up the ridge for a view over the anchorage and down to the water on the other side.
Sunday dawned clear and calmer. An early start was made on the motor to Waitangi to pick up Mate Matthew later in the morning.
