Mate Matthew joined Mate Stuart and I on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran. We left Waitangi, Bay of Islands, New Zealand and sailed to Robertson Island. The boys climbed to the lookout, I watched the boat as the wind was now blowing straight into Lagoon Bay. We then sailed across Renowned Anchorage to anchor for the night in Pareanui Bay.
Awoke to a lovely morning, later set sail in a SW breeze for a day of adventure. Initially heading for Nine Pin, but changed course for Black Rocks. We then passed Moturoa Island before entering Te Puna Inlet. Anchored in Pauroa Bay for lunch and a swim.
The sea breeze eventually arrived. We sailed back out of Te Puna Inlet to pass through Kent Passage inside Moturoa Island. As there was a good breeze we sailed over to Russell before returning to anchor in Onewhero Bay for the night.
