FFVII Rebirth OST: Jungles of Gongaga - original Final Fantasy VII demake version / soundfont cover

Описание: Hello again! here is another Final Fantasy VII Rebirth track demake in the style / soundfont of the original 1997 game. Don't forget to check out the many many more on the playlist. This is Jungles of Gongaga, a track that might entirely too happy to fit basically anywhere in FFVII lol; certainly the original Gongaga town was all quiet generational tragedy and things unsaid. Though I suppose in surrounding areas you have some funny enemies and Turks behaving like teenagers when it came to relationships... The track itself however is very very cute and fun and loved in its own right, so I had to try it, despite the uh you know VOCALS, which I am not including with the soundfont sounds even if I could because… they would not have recorded vocals and wasted megabytes of space on a PS1 for a random region theme xD Reference points for this were tracks like Cosmo Canyon, Wutai, Yuffie's Theme, kinda If You Open Your Heart, even Flowers Blooming. Overall I struggled to try and pare down the layers enough (..while also...... adding more layers because I like harmonies I mean what), but it's cute and fun even if not 100% authentic :) That's the fiddle from the chocobo races which doesn't get enough play in my opinion.

Unusually no particular spoilers in this video, except I guess solving the Ancient Forest puzzles which, be honest, I wasn't the only one who never so much as attempted to breed chocobos when they were a teenager so never got anywhere near this part first time through, right?? Anyway, as I said, actual Gongaga footage was completely tonally off, so here's another puzzle jungle!
