Danang to Hue - The Hai Van Pass by Train and back by Car. Thuy Tien Lake, The Hue Military Museum

Описание: Today we leave our hotel in Danang and ride the HD2 train from Danang to Hue. The train cost $8 per person through Baolau and we settled in to our window seat with A WINDOW THAT OPENS.

The weather was even nice to us and we got to ride along the bay, although construction will soon destroy the view. We got off the train in Hue and met up with an old guide from 2017 and he took us to a couple of different experiences. Firstly we headed to the Hue Military museum. These can be found all over Vietnam with old vehicles, planes, ammunition and memories of a war that is still in the memory of many Vietnamese people.

Next we head to the abandoned water park which the land was taken from the local Monks. Is it cursed or just a bad idea. Either way the park was built in 2004 and then closed.

It is now abandoned and the backdrop for music videos and instagram poses.

We then head to Lang Co lagoon and the official start (or end) of the Hai Van Pass. We took some time for a drink and take some photos before coming back over the pass and admiring the views from a second perspective.

We ended the day at the Lady Buddah that towers over Danang Bay. Luyt, our tour guide drops us off at the Hotel and that bring to an end a very long but fun day.
