Maryland filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday in an effort to obtain records detailing conditions at the immigration detention facility in Baltimore. Attorney General Anthony Brown announced a lawsuit against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security, saying a joint state and federal investigation is looking into whether ICE has engaged in a pattern or practice of civil rights violations against people detained in ICE 'hold rooms' at the George H. Fallon Federal Building in Downtown Baltimore.
