ACF1 Mania 2019 Haas: Moderate Fuel Load(58 Litres) Test Run @ Melbourne GP Circuit

Описание: With ACF1 Mania's new 2019 F1 mod, they bring new and improved physics to their cars in anticipation to the 2019 season's regulation changes. Every car by team is supposed to have different characteristics in terms of aerodynamic development as well, so I had to try this mod out, and at Melbourne, of course.

On this run, the car is on a moderate fuel load of 58 Litres, so the car can do about 25 laps in one stint. No driving aids are used with the stock setup, but MGU-K delivery is set to the maximum on the C4 tyres, the softest choice for the Australian Grand Prix this year. I wanted to feel how these cars drift around and slip carrying speed through the corners with a bit of weight added them.

It's a lot easier to catch the car if you light the rears up compared to ACFL's 2019 beta mod, but this might be the case with the front wing rule changes this year with the more neutralized handling to promote better overtaking-I'm not sure. I've always liked how ACF1 Mania approached tyre behavior with their different compound choices. By the end of your flier, you've got to understand the tyres so you don't overheat them before finishing to get the optimal laptime.

Overall, I'm impressed with this mod. I'm excited to start doing some setup work to see where these cars land in terms of pace. This most likely means that I will be doing 'Q3 Simulated' stuff with both ACFL's mod and ACF1 Mania's mod as well, it all depends on how the cars behave when adding the elements of weather to the equation.
