Angela Ju - Dialysis-related Fatigue
Angela is a project manager at the Centre for Kidney Research in Sydney, Australia. Her research interest is in the measurement, improvement and management of dialysis-related fatigue by engaging patients and caregivers in various stages of research. She is currently leading the M-FIT trial which aims to improve fatigue for people receiving dialysis through exercise interventions.
Here, Angela talks about recent research reviewing the lived experiences and perspectives of people on haemodialysis regarding the symptom of fatigue, and discusses the causes of, treatments and current evidence for addressing fatigue in people receiving dialysis.
