Foot pronation is often used in more of negative context as a movement that needs to be avoided.
However, what you will see from watching healthy runners, including world class runners, is that this is a natural movement when you run.
It occurs as you shift weight onto the foot as a way to help the body, particularly at the foot, better absorb the forces transferred into it during running.
Being able to do so will also give potential to use that energy stored to aid in propulsion.
So, when you see some pronation occurring, don't freak out.
It does not mean that something is necessarily wrong.
