An overnight adventure in the state of Vermont starting at the Long Trail / Appalachian Trail on Route 9 and going north to Glastenbury Mountain and camping at the Goddard Shelter. On Day 2 checking out the view from the fire tower, and heading south on the West Ridge Trail to Bald Mountain, and then a short road hike back to finish the loop. It's a bit of a slog-fest on Day 1 with the mud and rocks and roots, but it's all worth it because Day 2 has some great views and a beautiful trail getting up to Bald Mountain.
