Former presidential candidate Kizza Besigye has threatened to boycott his ongoing treason trial, accusing the court of favoring the prosecution. Besigye, who has been in jail for more than one year, says he may choose not to participate in the proceedings unless the court guarantees fairness to his defense. Benjamin Jumbe followed the court proceedings and now reports.
