On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for??? “You dumb cowboy, you know truckin’ Coors beer east of Texas is bootleggin”

I decided to start a list of all the “little” things that still need to be done to call this build complete and one of the most pressing is to correct the air can straps that are currently black and need to be chrome to match the movie. Unfortunately, I’ve come up short trying to find/buy the correct ones so I’m still looking. I also wanted to correct some of the other things on the truck like the air lines to the trailer and the period and movie correct 3-way eaton shifter. Took a little doing and research to make it work but in the end, I got it done.
