Codependency With Our Kids

Описание: Codependency between parents and their children is a common challenge. Parents often see their kids as ways that they get their own needs of validation, nurture and love met. But this doesn’t set them up to grow up to be healthy.

1. You don’t always need your kids to like you.
2. You don’t need to adjust who you are so that your kids will like you.

Once you are a healthy person and a healthy parent who can meet your own needs, your kids will see character in you and will respect that about you, which will lead to an authentic relationship.
