Nutricook: Super Easy Mungbean Porridge (Bubur Kacang Ijo) with Smart Pot 10in1 | English Subtitles

For those of you who are not familiar with Nutricook Smart Pot, the Smart Pot is a pressure cooker, sauté pot, slow cooker, rice cooker, egg cooker, steamer, soup maker, cake maker, yogurt maker, and food warmer all-in-one.

In this part 4 video, (the last one of the Nutricook Introduction series) I'm going to show you the basic use of the Smart Pot, and how to cook Mungbean Porridge (Bubur Kacang Ijo) with it.
Since we live in the Middle East, the mungbean available here sometimes a little bit different in size, depends on where it shipped from.

In this video, we only have the small ones available in our kitchen so the mungbean (after cooked) may not look that much. But if you use regular mungbean you have in Indonesia or the regular ones available here in Qatar, 250 gr should be good for this recipe.


Mungbean Porridge in Coconut Milk (Bubur Kacang Ijo)

250 gr mungbean, rinse
1,5 L water
100 gr palm sugar (add more if you like it really sweet)
4 tbs white sugar
500 ml thick coconut milk
2 cm ginger
2 pcs pandan leaves
Salt to taste

Add mungbean, water, ginger, and pandan leaves into Smart Pot, close the lid, and cook. After cooked, add sugar, coconut milk, salt, stir well, close the lid and choose the 'keep warm' option for 15 mins and it's ready to serve.
Or when you add the sugar, salt, and coconut milk, you can also use the 'saute' option for a few minutes and then keep warm. Easy peasy!
