48 Hours Inside Chernobyl After the Invasion - Most Radioactive Place On Earth

Описание: For years, Chernobyl was one of the most visited abandoned places on Earth. Urban explorers, filmmakers, and travelers came to see what was left behind.

That changed in 2022.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, Chernobyl was one of the first areas occupied. The exclusion zone became militarized. Roads were mined. Access was shut down. Very few people have been allowed inside since.

In this episode, I spent 48 hours inside Chernobyl during wartime, exploring Pripyat, the city built to support the power plant.

Schools frozen mid-lesson. Apartments still holding personal belongings. A stadium overtaken by forest. An amusement park that never opened.

It’s easy to talk about Chernobyl as a single disaster. But walking through Pripyat makes something clear: the explosion didn’t just damage a reactor. It erased an entire city.

And this is only one side of the story.

In the next episode, we go inside the power plant itself. We go into the control rooms and beneath the structure that now contains Reactor 4.
