A gunman armed with an assault rifle has shot at least four people at an adult education college in central Sweden.

At about 12.30pm local time police in Orebro, a city about 120 miles west of Stockholm, were alerted to a shooting at the Campus Risbergska.
SVT, a public broadcaster, said several people had been killed and as many as 15 injured, but these figures have not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
Police said only that five people, including the suspected attacker, had been taken for treatment at Orebro university hospital.
Four had had surgery. One was seriously wounded and two were in a stable condition, according to Jonas Claesson, the regional director of health and medical services.
