The Chozo are a bird-like intelligent alien species in the Metroid universe. They have established countless colonies among the stars and made deep forays into fields such as artificial intelligence and genetic engineering. But two of their creations--Mother Brain and the Metroids themselves--now pose a major threat to the galaxy.

In this collaboration with ‪@PhobiaSoft‬, I explore the biology, culture, history, and technology of the Chozo and examine whether something like them could evolve in real life.
