📍These locations are where you can find the most current available inventory as well as several homes in the works
📍And if you’ve watched any of my videos, you probably also know by now that you have to go outside of the metroplex about 25-45 min to find good options for homes with acreage.

#1 Vista Oaks - Granbury, TX

Granbury is a historic lake town located about 40 minutes southwest of downtown Fort Worth off of 377. It is a 17 square mile radius with a population of about 10,000 people

Vista Oaks is located on the South side of Granbury, about 10 from downtown. It's a new neighborhood with several options currently under construction by Premier Homes and scheduled to be completed early to mid 2022.

Lot sizes here start at 2 acres, prices are in $500s - $600s
These are more ranch and rustic style homes with features such as decorative ceilings, designer fixtures, crown molding
Kitchens with oversized islands, upgraded cabinets and appliances cabinets

Covered patios with fireplaces sometimes decorative ceilings

#2 Pioneer Crossing - Weatherford, TX

Weatherford overall is about 38 sq mile radius with population of 30,000
10 min NW of Weatherford off of 1885 + Mark Layne Rd
Larger neighborhood with wide range of custom builders such as Notex, MK Homes, Iron Pine, Creek with a pond and fishing
Priced in upper $400s - $500s
2 acre lots, No HOA, horses and small livestock permitted
Some of the builders will let you customize interior selections - my two faves Ashlyn and Notex
Cross between modern farmhouse and ranch style homes, higher end feel overall
Interiors with quartz, wood plank or wood look tile
Decorative accents throughout

#3 El Dorado Estates - Millsap, TX

Millsap is located 45 minutes West of Fort Worth and 15 min from Weatherford
It is 1 1.4 mile radius with a population of about 1,000 and growing
Not going to find a lot of amenities here, however it is only a 10 drive drive to I20 to Weatherford shopping and restaurants.

Currently a lot of active inventory - beautiful new modern farmhouse homes by Trinity Classic, as well as other custom builders.

200 acre community with 95 lots - located in Brock + Millsap ISD
Homes here range from $400s - $600s
DOES have HOA, build minimums and upkeep
Horses + small livestock permitted
Homes in 400s - 500s
1-5 acre lots sizes

What I like about this neighborhood is it has a laid back, rustic hill country vibe overall with horses, wild cactuses, community trails and fishing ponds.
