Day 21 was the most important workout of the week — the long run.
This session wasn’t about speed or pushing limits. It was about control, patience, and trusting the process. I ran for nearly 46 minutes with calm, steady breathing and zero panic. My lungs were ready. The challenge was in the legs — they felt heavy at the start and again toward the end — but I stayed disciplined, respected the plan, and finished without pain.
That’s the real lesson of endurance training.
Progress doesn’t always feel light. Sometimes it feels dense and uncomfortable. But if you stay patient, manage discomfort, and don’t let your ego take over, your body adapts and carries you through.
This long run wasn’t about building more fitness — it was about building confidence. Removing doubt. Proving that consistency works and that I’m ready to show up on race day healthy and prepared.
Now the focus shifts to recovery, sharpening, and arriving fresh for the 10K.
One run closer.
One lesson deeper.
