Got a big slab of roast pork and don't know what to do with it? I believe mamy of us got such dillemma during CNY. Instead just eat with chillies sauce or sambal plus soy sauce, I prepared them into 3 different ways.
1. 大蒜炒烧肉 (The Classic Stir-Fry)
利用大蒜的辛香味平衡烧肉的油脂,镬气十足,这就是广东人最爱的味道!
The classic Cantonese way: aromatics from the leeks perfectly balance the richness of the roast pork.
• Ingredients:
• 1 bowl roast pork (chopped) | 烧肉
• 3 stalks of leeks | 大蒜
• A bit of sesame oil | 麻油
• A bit of white pepper | 胡椒粉
• 2 tbsp oyster sauce | 蚝油
2. 九层塔泰式爆炒烧肉 (Thai Basil Roast Pork)
这是我在清迈美食之旅时找到的灵感,用九层塔提升香气,香香辣辣非常开胃!
Inspired by my food adventures in Chiang Mai! The Thai basil takes the aroma to the next level—spicy, fragrant, and super appetizing.
• Ingredients:
• 1 bowl roast pork (chopped) | 烧肉
• 4 cloves of garlic | 蒜头
• 4 bird's eye chilies | 指天椒 (or any chili)
• A bit of salt | 盐
• A bit of black pepper | 黑胡椒
• 1 bowl Thai basil | 九层塔
• 2 tbsp fish sauce | 鱼露
• A bit of sugar | 白糖
3. 腰果烧肉 (Roast Pork with Cashews)
这是家喻户晓的“腰果鸡丁”的进化版!我在清迈的烹饪课(Cooking Class)学到的新煮法,口感层次超丰富。
The evolved version of the classic Cashew Chicken. I learned this new method during a cooking class in Chiang Mai, and it's a game-changer.

• 1 tbsp minced garlic | 蒜蓉
• 1 Capsicum | 灯笼椒
• 1 bowl roasted cashew nuts | 腰果
• 1 tbsp Thai Chilli paste | 泰式辣椒酱
