Aaj hum bana rahe hain Traditional Kathiyawadi Kadhi Recipe — ek spicy, tangy aur flavorful Gujarati-style kadhi jo Kathiyawad region ki mashhoor dish hai. Yeh kadhi buttermilk (chaas) aur besan se banti hai, jisme lahsun, hari mirch aur desi tadka isse lajawab taste deta hai. Ghar par simple ingredients ke saath yeh recipe easily ban jaati hai aur bajra rotla, roti ya steamed rice ke saath perfect lagti hai.
Ingredients:
2 cups Buttermilk (Chaas)
2 tbsp Besan (Gram Flour)
2 tbsp Oil ya Ghee
1 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds (Methi Dana)
8–10 Curry Leaves
4–5 Garlic cloves (crushed)
2 Green Chilies (slit)
1 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
Salt to taste
A pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (for garnish)
Water as needed
Cooking Process:
1️⃣ Ek bowl mein chaas aur besan ko achi tarah whisk karein, koi lumps na rahen. Ismein haldi, red chili powder, namak aur thoda pani add karein.
2️⃣ Pan garam karein, usmein oil ya ghee daalein. Rai, jeera, methi dana aur curry leaves daal kar crackle hone dein.
3️⃣ Ab hing, lahsun aur hari mirch daal kar halka sa bhunein jab tak aroma aa jaye.
4️⃣ Ab prepared chaas mixture dheere dheere pan mein daalein aur lagataar chalate rahen.
5️⃣ Kadhi ko medium flame par 10–15 minutes tak pakayein jab tak thodi thick aur creamy ho jaye.
6️⃣ End mein fresh dhaniya daal kar mix karein aur gas band kar dein.
