Bernina express scenic train offers a connecting bus from Tirano station (Italy) to Lugano(Switzerland).
Travelled on 7th August 2023. The bus took approximately 3hrs to arrive in Lugano. Booked the afternoon bus which depart Tirano at 2pm. Mostly mountain views with shore view of lake como.
Upon arriving in Lugano we took a local bus to our hotel at Lavetezza. These bus has luggage area located usually in the middle section of the vehicle. May have a few steps to climb it depends on the model.
Generally it was a smooth ride. Go off peak hours to avoid the bus crowd.
