Mt. Elgon Member of Parliament John Serut and former area member of parliament Fred Kapondi sharply differed during a National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) forum in Nakuru over what is said to be a result of leadership wrangles between the two. Drama ensued after Fred Kapondi accused John Serut for engaing in petty politics over development agenda. It took the intervention of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission chair Francis Ole Kaparo to restore calm.
