Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 update as of December 2018

Описание: My last update for the year 2018 with regards to the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3. We start the video from section 5 area towards section 1. Thank you for watching!

It is a bit long update video though....

Section 5 (start of the video)
An announcement was made by NLEX that a portion of their lanes will make way for the construction of Section 5 / skyway stage 3. It would be a little bit of an inconvenience to most motorist entering the Balintawak but soon once this is over it would be gain to many.

Section 4
4:09 - an birds eyeview of section 4 A bonifacio area
4:34 - 5th avenue / C3 area - we can see more pier heads constructed.
5:33 - There are new provisions for support structures on the property and i wonder which properties will be removed next....
7:29 - A clear scene of what to expect on the merging of bi level (perhaps) of the elevated portion
7:42 - There we can see now how this area will turn out.
9:09 - Del Monte x Araneta Avenue - Still not yet done, no girders installed yet (excited on this part)
11:26 - I wonder is there an issue of ROW here or why that development on this area was stalled in my observation...

Section 3
13:01 - I wonder what will be the outcome as we can see protruding pier in the middle... Also, just wondering if we used a unibridge instead of the concrete girder will the works on this area be faster? But which is more economical?
14:33 - the girders along this area is placed strangely.. Probably an issue of ROW but will they just leave it like that?
15:49 - On your left side - works on the on ramp , formworks on the pier caps

Section 2
18:22 - Since this is a private property and so works here are outstanding. We could now see unibridge steel girders installed on all over the spans going to the river. There are wide gaps on the some parts though.. that would be a wide slab if that is final...
19:39 - Close up shots of the piers erected on the river. Now we can see the height of the river portion with some of the piers done with pouring and curing.
20:51 - Quirino Highway birds eyeview
23:51 - There are barriers closing the entire Plaza Dilao now...

Section 1
24:21 - New concrete girders installed on Quirino (this area) So the girder pictures we took were installed here on P90+ area.
24:55 - On this documentation we see 2 steel box girders installed on the junction of Osmena and Quirino, but as of Dec 6, 2018 a new steel box girder was installed making it three. We took pictures and added on this video.
25:28 - birds eyeview of the steel box girder area on Quirino and Osmena Junction
28:09 - Off ramp on SB - There are still some pier caps preparation for pouring and formworks.

As another year ends...
Thank you very much for following my update videos for Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3. I truly had a great time monitoring this and documenting it. Started on 2014 and thank God almighty i am still alive permitted to still observe and witness this. I dream of seeing this complete and be able to make a joyride on this before closing the curtains. Let's pray and hope that no more other unwanted issues be experience on this big infrastructure project so that it would be complete and open for all of us to enjoy of course with an ample sum.
