It is June and let's check what are the developments in the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3.

The last two previous months were exciting as we saw the completion of the steel box girder installation in Buendia flyover and the completion of the AASHTO girders in the remaining span of 14 to 15 and 18 to 19 that officially makes the entire stretch of Osmena Highway sealed up (in my opinion).

Bottleneck traffic at Concordia Bridge in section 2 due to the rehab and the area around Plaza Dilao is so busy, there are also two girders installed in that particular area.

There are developments along the San Juan River / Sevilla bridge area for secton 2 as pile boring and installation of steel casing and pouring commence as of this documentation.

Also, girders were installed on the intersection of E Rodriguez but still not complete as of this documentation. What made the month of May memorable (May 26) was the installation of the first steel box girders for section 3 span 76 to 76 (quezon avenue x araneta avenue then followed by additional after a day. And as of this documentation probably a new batch of steel box girders will be installed.

Relocation of the electric poles were slow though... it seems there is still more poles needed to be relocated around Araneta and Osmena. This must be an issue of ROW and hoping the concerned agencies would know the importance of a swift and fast decision for such a big project.

I would like to give a thumbs up and salute to our hard working contractors for the effort being given to this massive project.
