The Smurf Train at Darlington

Описание: We head to Darlington Railway Station to see the new Lumo livery celebrating the release of the new Smurfs movie.

We started at Seaton Delaval before heading to Newcastle where we caught a LNER Azuma. We spotted a freight train was coming out way so we jumped off at Durham to catch it. We were glad we did as a beautiful class 70 Colas Rail freight came to delight Tommy.

We then jumped onto a Cross Country to complete our journey to Darlington where we saw a Class 66 Freightliner and a Volker Rail tamper train.

We had a bit of a wait for the Smurf Train but it was worth it as it looked great when it arrived gliding past platform 4. Tommy noticed that 803004 used to be The Whiskey Express until Lumo changed it.

We are Tommy and Daddy and we are passionate about trains and planes, but mostly trains. After seeing some older boys creating videos of trains at our local station, we were inspired to give it a go ourselves.
