ACL Rehab Exercises - Phase 2

The goals of Phase 2 of ACL rehab are to reduce any muscle wastage to the quads (your thigh muscles) and your glutes, maintain quads strength if possible and improve hamstring strength. By this point, the knee range of motion should be 85-90% compared to normal.
Phase 2 is generally from 2-8ish weeks post op.
During this phase it is still important to keep doing the quadriceps squeezes, straight leg raises and heel slides that we did in phase 1.
These are the new exercises (all done daily for three sets):
1️⃣ Hip abductions - 15-20 reps on each side
2️⃣ Single leg squats - 5-8 reps
3️⃣ Wall squats - 10 reps
4️⃣ Stepdowns - 5-8 reps
5️⃣ Glute bridges - 10-15 reps
Phase 3 is when the exercises start to become a bit more interesting..
