This is video shot from the top level of the Sydney Opera House of the Queen Mary 2 departing the Overseas Passenger Terminal on the 8th March 2012.
The first 90secs is video played back at 4x speed as the QM2 is pulled away from the terminal by a group of tug boats. At approximately 1m40s the QM2 sounding it's fog horn 3 times, followed by another vessel sounding it's horn once. At 3m37s the QM2 sounds the fog horn again as it starts to pass the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The view changes at around 5m54s as I move to the other side of Sydney Opera House to film the QM2 moving more into Sydney Harbour. It's at approx 6m00s that it sounds the fog horn for the last time before passing Fort Denison and eventually turning left just past Bradley's Head.
