Classic Ocean Liner from the past sounds her horn sails from Sydney.

Описание: Saga Rose leaving Sydney Harbour on one of her last visits. Originally named Sagafjord for Norwegian America Line and had her Maiden Voyage in 1965, she did Transatlantic Crossings
in the Summer and in the Winter sail on her annual World Cruise from January to April for Norwegian America Line. For World Cruises she had a very low Passenger capacity of only 462
with Crew of 350

Cunard Line took over the running of Norwegian America Line in 1983 with Sagafjord and Vistafjord joining the Cunard fleet. At that time Sagafjord was one of the highest rated Passenger Ships in the World being awarded 5 star + and had Norwegian and European Crew
She completed many voyages around the World
for Cunard Line and had many return Passengers.

She was sold to Saga Cruises in 1997 and after an extensive refit continued cruising around the World and cruised Europe and the Mediterranean. She was retired 2009 and sadly sent to the breakers in 2010.
She was a classic looking Ocean Liner
with beautiful lines.
