Around 70% of women experience lumbar spine discomfort in backbends — not because backbends are bad, but because they’re often practiced without the right preparation, alignment, and sequencing.
In this class, you’ll learn:
– how to practice backbends safely
– how to protect your lumbar spine
– how to distribute the extension through the whole spine
– how to go deeper without compression or pain
You’ll be guided through Transformative Yoga Drills that prepare the body properly before deeper backbending, so strength, mobility, and release work together — instead of fighting each other.
This is not a random class.
It’s taken directly from the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, where these principles are taught step by step and applied in real practice.
Here, you have the opportunity to experience the training on your own body.
