Call to Order:

Roll call, Pledge of Allegiance
1. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
This discussion requires a closed session because it involves confidential legal strategy related to ongoing litigation, and open discussion could adversely affect the Town’s position. Entering into closed session
under this exemption is necessary to preserve attorney-client confidentiality and protect the Town’s legal interests.
Adjourn to Closed Session, to reconvene, pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the Town who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the Town with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. During the closed session, the Board will discuss Jefferson County Case No. 24-CV-437, State of Wisconsin ex rel. Weenonah Brattset v. Town of Palmyra Board of Supervisors, et al. (Roll Call Vote Required).

This discussion requires a closed session because it involves confidential strategy related to contract negotiations, and open discussion could adversely affect the Town’s position. Entering into closed session
under this exemption is necessary to preserve negotiation strategy.

Adjourn to closed session, to reconvene, pursuant to Chapter 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes “Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.” Item to be discussed: Negotiation of Town’s Fire/EMS contract.

Possible action on Fire and EMS Services Agreement between the Village of Palmyra and the Town of Palmyra for 2026-2027 fire and rescue services.
