Milling up a Spalted Maple log that would make some perfect coffee table slabs. This kind of material sells for a high premium in my area, so I'll mill these logs (big or small) whenever I get the chance. I'm also giving these imported tungsten carbide tipped blades a workout. This is only the second log I've milled with these blades and I'm impressed with the cut quality for the $50 price tag, but we'll see how they hold up over time. I'll share my findings, good or bad.
