Update on My DIY Dehumidification Lumber Kiln Build - Part 2

Описание: I've made some great progress on my lumber kiln chamber, and I'm a few weeks out from loading it up with my first load to dry. What started out as just a framed-up box, is now looking like a lumber kiln. This small chamber is designed to dry up to around 1000bd/ft per load, but will more likely house around 400-600bd/ft on average. The next steps beyond this video are to get the heating and baffle systems installed and refined. Part 3 will cover those elements of this build. I will add a crawlspace dehumidifier eventually, but with plenty of airflow, heat, and ventilation of humid air from the chamber, one can slowly dry wood in a kiln without a dehumidifier. Conceptually, it'll work in a similar way to a solar kiln, but with the use of electric heat and ventilation.

This chamber is built specifically to house lumber and slabs stored on 24" deep pallets, but many of these methods and concepts can be adopted to a wide array of setups.
