New firms start with decisions with important strategic implications. A growing literature on this topic emphasizes the importance of experimentation to gain knowledge under conditions of uncertainty and make more effective decisions. This panel brings together leading entrepreneurship scholars for an interactive discussion on recent work as well as promising areas for future research on how entrepreneurs use different aspects of experimentation to cope with uncertainty.
