Join me as I explore a section of the former Midland Railway Ripley to Derby line, a route that once connected key industrial sites like coal pits and pottery works. In this video, I walk along the abandoned trackbed, starting just beyond Ripley, passing the site of Ripley Station, and uncovering the locations of old pits, railway junctions, and Denby Station.
