In this episode, we kick things off in Kal-Sharok, deep beneath the earth, where Harding meets the Oracle—a dwarf tied to the ancient Titans and the living history of her people. Dwarven politics, lost legacies, and some geology lessons set the tone for a world on the brink.
Then it’s off to Weisshaupt, the legendary fortress of the Grey Wardens. Once the front line against blights, Archdemons, and darkness, now it’s a stronghold under siege by blighted dragons and elven gods run amok.
The battle against Ghilan’nain’s Archdemon pushes us to the brink, but we manage to fell the beast.
Yet, in a hard-fought confrontation, Lucanis falls short of landing the final blow on the false elven god of biomancy—leaving us with as many regrets as victories.
Now, as the Grey Wardens pick up the pieces and the Veilguard itself teeters on the edge of crisis, everyone has their own trauma and doubts to wrestle. Some distractions make sense, others… are just part of life when your party is this weird.
