Karl Breen on the Electric Guitar

Karl Breen has been an in-demand session guitarist for the past 20 years, and in that time has recorded, gigged, and toured with many acclaimed international artists. His TV work has seen him perform as a backing musician with Elton John, Westlife, Olly Murs, Sugababes, LeAnn Rimes, Andrea Bocelli, to name but a few. Karl regularly acts as a theatre guitarist performing in the pit for theatre production companies; along with regular sessions with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, and Irish Philharmonic Orchestra. Karl is the Deputy Head of Education, and Head of Department for Music Theory, at BIMM Institute, Dublin.
