Indonesia FM comments after talks in Jordan

Описание: (5 Mar 2019) The Indonesian and Jordanian foreign ministers on Tuesday stressed their respective governments' interest in sustainable and peaceful solutions to the "Palestinian issue".
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said the issue was "at the heart of the Indonesian foreign policy".
Jordanian foreign minister Al-Safadi said that the Jordanian and Indonesian positions on the question aligned, with the aim being "comprehensive peace" in a way that ensured "Palestinians rights, freedom and to have a state".
Marsudi also signed an agreement with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNWRA) to support a refugee camp with health and food assistance.
Speaking during a visit to Jordan's capital Amman, she also mentioned her country's support to Myanmar, together with other ASEAN countries, in preparing to repatriate Rohingya Muslims who have fled violence and crossed into Bangladesh.
After a renewed flare-up in violence in Myanmar's northern Rakhine State, new refugees are still crossing the border to Bangladesh according to authorities there.
Last week, Bangladesh's foreign secretary said his country will need to stop accepting more refugees from Myanmar and accused its government of being "obstructionist" about bringing back more than 1 million Rohingya Muslims.
Myanmar, meanwhile, continued to insist it is taking steps toward their return.
