These check valves handle uni-directional flow control of critical fluids and gases, especially in high temperature or “sticky” applications.

The Parker CBG Flow Control Check valve are designed to solve to reduce or eliminate costly turbine shutdowns and maintenance caused by premature seat and seal failure caused by "Coke Sticking" that can occur with duel fuel turbines in the power generation industry.

Parker uses an internal seal design concept based on its existing floating ball valve design. The self centering ball in the CBG check valve design compensates for any misalignment, while all other poppet-style check valves can be adversely affected by seat leakage in a misaligned condition. Utilizing PTFE copolymer seats also proves invaluable due to the soft and forgiving nature of the material. Most importantly, the Parker Carbon and Parkerfill seats have been designed and optimized specifically for the demands of fuel oil, purge air, and water injection applications on turbines.

This video will help you understand the features like PTFE coated internal parts to reduce coke deposits, large flow passages to allow cavities to drain more easily, valve seats and seals designed for operation to over 500°F and an optional flow orifice to help control flow in dual fuel systems. Standard Cracking Pressures of 1, 3,10,15, 45, 100, and 120 psi are offered. Body sizes include 3/8" 1/2" and 3/4", and many different connections and sizes are available.
