Join us for an insightful webinar that delves into the critical issues of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and hydrogen embrittlement (HE), two of the most significant challenges facing industries that utilize metallic materials such as stainless steels in harsh environments. This session will explore our latest understanding of the ways of identifying and mitigating these phenomena to enhance material performance and reliability.
During this webinar, our experts cover:
Introduction to Stress Corrosion Cracking and Hydrogen Embrittlement: Definitions, mechanisms, and the impact on material integrity.
Recent Advances: Overview of the latest findings in SCC and HE, including case studies and real-world applications.
Novel Testing and Evaluation Techniques: Discussion of testing methods to assess susceptibility and predict failure with comprehensive test data to corroborate findings.
Mitigation Strategies: Best practices for selecting materials, protective coatings, and design considerations to minimize the risks associated with SCC and HE.
Future Trends: Insights into emerging technologies and research directions aimed at combating these issues.
