Dr. Stephen Fealy is a sports medicine surgeon at HSS who specializes in injuries and associated surgeries of the shoulder, knee, and elbow.
He performs the latest and most innovative techniques for arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder and knee. He focuses on repairing injured ligaments/tendons/cartilage with the goal of joint preservation. When indicated, he also performs knee replacements.
Throughout his career, his passion for baseball drove his involvement with the Major League Baseball Players Association where he currently is the Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine Consultant. In this role, Dr. Fealy is at the forefront of research and evaluation of shoulder and elbow pain in overhead athletes and corresponding treatments.
