Amish Star Quilt Block ⭐ Block of the Week #1 | Patriotic Red, White & Blue Quilt Tutorial

Описание: Welcome back everyone! In this video we are starting our Block of the Week Quilt Series, and the very first block is the beautiful Amish Star Quilt Block.

This block finishes at 12 inches and uses three fabrics. I’m using red, white, and blue to create a patriotic quilt that we hope to finish by July 4th!

In this tutorial you’ll learn:
• How to measure 7/8 of an inch
• How to make Flying Geese blocks
• How to create Half Square Triangles
• How to assemble the Amish Star quilt block step-by-step
• Tips for nesting seams and pressing

This pattern comes from Quilters Cache and is a FREE pattern online.

We will be making 16 blocks total and adding sashing and cornerstones between the blocks. This quilt should be finished just in time for the 4th of July!

If you’d like a larger quilt, you can make two of each block.
