Remember:
Make sure all 4 strings are ringing clearly with no buzzing or dead notes.
Your fingers WILL hurt! This is normal and the only way to get past this is to practice more and let your fingers build up a tough callus.
Keep your wrist straight and your thumb pushing into the back of the neck or over top of the neck. Never under the neck.
Relax! Find a comfortable position that works for you and your fingers.
