THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT:
12.02.2020. A Qantas Airbus A330-200, performing flight QFA44 / QF44 from Bali, Denpasar (Indonesia) to Sydney (Australia), after landing reported that the hydraulic system was lost and nose gear steering was lost too. The pilots requested a tug to be towed to the apron. The runway was closed for 40 minutes until the aircraft was towed out of the runway.
TEXT VERSION OF COMMUNICATIONS. (Read if subtitles in video were fast):
COMMENTS: QANTAS 44 (QFA044) is approaching final runway 34L (RW 34l).
TOWER: QFA044, we get [not clear] rolling through G, the wind 150 degrees 6 knots [not clear] RW 34L cleared to land.
QFA44: Roll through the G, cleared to land QF044.
QFA44: Ok, Qantas… QFA044 we got a hydraulic problem. Stopping on the runway.
TOWER: QFA044, roger. Unable to move, is that correct?
QFA44: Unable to move.
TOWER: Roger.
TOWER: QFA044, do you require any services?
QFA44: At that moment, negative. Looks like we’ve lost hydraulic system. Ok, thank you for that.
COMMENTS: There was other traffic approaching behind QFA044 on RW 34L. Tower instructed it to go around.
TOWER: QFA568 go around RW34L.
QFA568: Go around 34L, QFA568.
QFA44: Tower, QFA044, we’ve got no nose gear steering. We are gonna have a tug [not clear].
TOWER: QFA044, ok thanks [not clear] we will relay it to [not clear]
QFA44: QFA044, just… It appears that we are losing hydraulic fluid out of the aircraft [not clear]. It is gonna be on the runway.
TOWER: QFA044, understood, thank you.
TOWER TO EMERGENCY SERVISE: Car 3, thanks. A330 has reported loosing hydraulic fluid is suspected some [not clear, hazard]
TOWER: QFA044, when you’ll get a second dangerous goods and POB (Persons On Board, souls on board).
QFA44: QFA044, nil dangerous goods and POB 174, we will be shutting down [not clear]
TOWER: Are you shutting the engines now you are gonna wait for a tug to get there…
QFA44: We’ll shut them when we come in move [not clear]
TOWER: QFA044…
COMMETNS: After that the runway was closed for 40 minutes until the aircraft was towed clear of the runway.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.
