9 in 1 | Train Almost Hits Dog | Monsoon Railfanning in Malavli | High Speed Trains
On the second part of my railfanning trip, I arrived at Malavli. Whilst on the way to Malavli, I just missed capturing the Mumbai Pune Intercity Express hauled by the WDP4D. Malavli is a place I just love to go and the monsoon just simply elevates it. Just as I was preparing to capture the first train I noticed several dogs hanging around the tracks. I was just hoping they would stay away. When the LTT Vishakhapatnam Express was approaching, all the dogs seemed to be at a safe distance. That's when one of the dogs decided to cross over to the other side! It was a matter of seconds that the dog crossed the track and the train passed, narrowly escaping death!
The dog scare aside, the rain was playing games with me. It was raining intermittently that day, not the heavy rain that I hoped to get. But the funny part is that the rain would come either before or after a train was due to pass. I did manage to capture a couple of trains passing through the rain but missed many.
